Jakwan R.: I was a long time NYC employee of the NYCHA and a Union official of Teamsters local 237 representing city employees. As I opposed the treatment of the members by city and union officials, I decided that in order to change the way business was done, was to run for president of the union and affect change and as a result, I became a target of both interties for retaliation.
