Nicole Smith v. Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC, et al., Case No. 14-cv-4848

On August 14, 2014, Lead Plaintiff Nicole Smith on behalf of herself and those similarly situated filed a class and collective action lawsuit in United States District Court – Eastern District of New York vs. Integrated Medical Professionals, P.L.L.C. and Prestige Employee Administrators, Inc. Ms. Smith worked for Defendants, her joint-employers, as a valued radiation therapist for over six years. Ms. Smith alleges that she frequently worked in excess of forty hours per week, but Defendants did not pay her at all for any hours she worked over forty hours per week, did not pay her the statutorily required overtime rate of pay, or provide her with accurate wage statements in violation of the New York Labor Law, New York Compensation Codes Rules and Regulations and the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
