Professional Background:
Prior to joining Borrelli & Associates, P.L.L.C., Andrew Weiss was an associate at a prominent New York Civil Rights firm, and an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department. While with the City, Andrew litigated over one-hundred cases involving police misconduct, taking several to trial. After becoming an associate at a boutique plaintiff’s civil rights firm, Andrew litigated matters involving police misconduct, inmate abuse, and personal injury all across New York State.
Andrew is a practiced trial attorney. He graduated law school as one of the top trial advocates of his class, earning him the New York State Trial Lawyers Association Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and the Judge Edward Hart Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Since graduating, Andrew has taken numerous trial verdicts at both the state and federal levels. He has also successfully defended a trial verdict through his advocacy in New York State’s First Appellate Division.
