Laura Reznick has worked primarily in the field of labor and employment law for eight years, representing employees and employers in wage and hour litigation, as well as representing federal and private-sector employees in employment discrimination matters and counseling employers on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. Ms. Reznick has litigated several class action lawsuits on behalf of employees, including catering service workers seeking unpaid gratuities and federal employees who worked without pay during the 2018-2019 government shutdown.
Ms. Reznick graduated cum laude from NYU School of Law in 2013, where she was a Peggy Browning Fellow and the recipient of the Seymour Goldstein Memorial Prize for excellence in the area of labor relations. After graduation, Ms. Reznick worked as a law fellow at a New York City labor union and clerked for a federal magistrate judge before joining another prominent Long Island employment law firm.
